Phila, Pa February 2007

In mid February (or practically any month) Philadelphia is so much fun!! Me and a few others went to see the King Tut exhibit, Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and a fun other little store, which you'll see in the pictures below!!

First, Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is located on South Street between 4th and 5th Avenues, its a now beautiful building that an artist Isaiah Zagar turned into a house full of glass art. He used bottles, and other pieces of glass to make pictures and different designs. You can find more about this place at:

Here are a few pictures I took there:
this is a cool picture of his work:

cool sculptures
this was a gorgeous walkway actually made from different colored glass!!
a fireplace made of glasses!

If you're in Phila, you can't miss Condom Kingdom!!! They have a great variety of things here:)
King Tut exhibit was really great, but sorry no cameras allowed inside. The exhibit will be in Phila only until April and I'm pretty sure thats the last stop in the US. So go see it!!! Lots of symbols and Egyptian people with either animaltype or elongated heads!
