Frugal Tip Friday - for your weekends & your eyes!

Happy Friday! Today's Frugal Tip includes a great eye cream below but first I have tell you about a site called Savvy Source. I wanted to write about it today because Savvy Source is all about helping people save money on fun activities like outings to aquariums, museums, zoos and lots of other places! And to join its FREE! Savvy Source began with giving information about preschools in the area and now has evolved into a wonderful resource that includes deals in cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Tampa and many more! Also included are great activities for young children on their home page. And I have great news! Savvy Source will be launching in NYC this coming September 13th! Which means there will be lots of offers and discounts on fun things to here in the city that would normally cost too much! I'm so excited for them to come. We try and get to the museum or aquarium once a week in the wintertime so we'll definetly be using this service.

Another one of the very cool things about Savvy Source is that you can become an affiliate blogger! And who doesn't want to help others to save money right? All you have to do is sign up and put the widget on your site. When others take part in the deals/offers you get back a certain percentage, its that easy!

Check out Savvy Source to see if they are in your area!

Now for a great eye gel thats super easy to make and made of stuff from your own kitchen or garden:

You will need:

1/2 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons cucumber
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (can be from the leaf or bought in the store)

Take honey and aloe and mix in a bowl.

Take half a cucumber (roughly) and shave off outside skin.

Place cucumber without skin in blender.

Take blended cucumber out and mix with honey and aloe.

And you've saved about 30$ and made your own eye cream! I hope you like it!

Happy Frugal Tip Friday!
