Frugal tip Friday - for your dry feet!

I walk alot during the week, everywhere basically. I walk to the bus, to the train and then to work and maybe to school at night (and then go through the whole walk thing again when I go home). I'm thankful to be able to have the chance to walk but my feet don't thank me!  I wear crocs (which are inexpensive slip on shoes that make my feet feel awesome) so dirt gets on my feet and by the time the end of the week comes, my feet need som exfoliation! Calendula is great for moisture but at this point I think its better to just exfoliate the dead skin off. And if you know me, you know I'm not about to spend 50$ on some fancy schmancy food exfoliator when stuff in the kitchen can do the same job (or better) for 1/16 of that!  And I found a recipe!! I'm so excited to tell you about it because it really makes my feet feel wonderful and clean and smooth.

You will need: 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of aloe (if you have a plant you can get it from the leaves or from the store), 1 teaspoon coconut oil.

Mix together and scrub onto the bottom of your feet. Rinse and feel how baby soft your feet feel! Now I'm actually excited about wearing flip flops and asking Martin to give me a foot massage:)

Happy Frugal Tip Friday!
