Just another reason to eat whole foods

I subscribe to a daily newsletter from a site called Rodale.com. They have articles from healthy eating to recalled foods. It is a great site!  An article that I received the other day stated that HPV, or hydrolyzed vegetable protiens, were being recalled because of possible salmonella poisening.  HPV is in most processed foods, foods like pringles, potato chips, dips, gravy and marinades, some frozen foods and even some fresh prepared foods like potato salad and fresh dips.  Ingesting the contaminated HPV can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.  Its upsetting to see so many foods/mixes being recalled, especially the organic salad dressings below. If you want to make your own salad dressing I have a few good recipes that are easy and fast -

1- just mix olive oil with lemon and pour over salad
2- mix balsamic vineger with olive oil
3 - mix 1 tablespoon mustard, with 1/2 tablespoon of honey, with 1 tablespoon lemon (you don't need the lemon, I just like the sourness), with olive oil
